Pianist & Keyboardist
Alexander Guggenberger
About me
It's the little things that turn a mediocre event into an extraordinary one that will be talked about for a long time. The suitable musical accompaniment is certainly one of them!
For almost ten years, I've been accompanying weddings, birthdays, and celebrations on the piano. My repertoire ranges from evergreens (Beatles, Elvis Presley, Elton John, ABBA...) to jazz standards (Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra...), boogie (Jerry Lee Lewis...), film music (Disney, Anime, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings...) and modern pop songs (Avicii, Ed Sheeran...). I always enjoy variety and am happy to accommodate your special requests – few instruments do justice to the abundance and diversity of musical tastes as much as the piano!
While my solo engagements have taken me to weddings in Vienna's City Hall, to Palais Almanac, to the Cathedral in Wiener Neustadt, and to New Year's Eve dinners in the luxury hotels "Der Steierhof" and "Heilthermenresort Bad Waltersdorf", I regularly perform as a keyboard player with various bands, e.g. with tribute shows at Orpheum Vienna or recently at Donauinselfest.Through this, I’ve connected with some truly fantastic fellow musicians; I’m happy to perform as a duo with a singer, guitarist, flautist or cellist, or—upon request—provide accompaniment for the event as part of a trio or larger ensemble. We aren’t your typical party band, but rather offer genuine musical treats :)
Under the following links you find demo videos (Youtube Playlist), my CV (CV) and my repertoire (Excel bzw pdf).
I look forward to your inquiry!
testimonials
"Both the initial contact and the day of our wedding with Alexander were completely uncomplicated. Alexander provided the musical accompaniment for our wedding ceremony and the subsequent reception, fulfilling and even exceeding our wishes and expectations – we can highly recommend him!"
